Since she was able to read, Laverty dreamed of becoming a writer. Throughout the years, and as life interrupted, she dabbled in short stories and poems, never losing sight of a full-time career in writing. Armed with a college degree in Communications, she tackled jobs in the media field and still remained an avid reader of contemporary romance. But it was meeting her soulmate who would financially and emotionally support her that she was able to fulfill her writing vision. Laverty now spends her days as a wordsmith of novels, short stories, poems, and lyrics. She is sole proprietor of “That’s All She Wrote” writing studio located in Frankfort, Indiana, and is author of two nostalgic short story collections. She has also published three contemporary romance/women’s fiction novels and a historical fiction. Her shorter work has been published online in Foliate Oak Literary Magazine, Indiana Voice Journal, Pen There, Our Write Side, Flying Island, and TreeHouse Arts. In print, one of her poems appears in Lost Tower Publication’s “Along The Shore,” and also one of her short stories is included in Rhetaskew Publishing’s “Adventures Gone Askew,” both in Amazon. Outside of her studio, she enjoys traveling, photography, working out, attending concerts, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.
